By car
The entrance to the House of Prayer is on the right hand side at the end of Seymour Road, before it becomes an unmade track (private road) and meets Molesey Park Road. Turn right into the House of Prayer gate and park facing forward in one of the available bays. If there is no parking space available, there will be available spaces on nearby roads.
Please note:
The car park soon reaches capacity for large group events, including retreat days. Please arrive in good time to ensure you find a space in the car park, or safely park on nearby roads, e.g., Beauchamp Road.
SatNavs may mistakenly take you to St Alban’s Primary School whose entrance is on Beauchamp Road. If this happens, return to Seymour Road, cross Beauchamp Road to stay on Seymour Road, and find the entrance to the House of Prayer on the right hand side as above.
By train from London Waterloo Station
Take a train from Waterloo (or Vauxhall) to Hampton Court, which is the end of the line. There are two trains an hour, and the journey takes around 35 minutes.
By bus from Hampton Court Station
When you come out of the station at Hampton Court, cross over the road at the lights and walk towards the Pizza Express. Cross the road opposite the Pizza Express and you'll see a bus stop (by another row of shops). Take the 411 bus to Dennis Road stop (it's less than five minutes on the bus, the stop immediately after the High Street). When you get off the bus, walk back 50 metres (in the direction from which the bus has come) and you'll find Seymour Road on your right. Walk down Seymour Road to the very bottom (crossing Beauchamp Road). The House of Prayer is on the right hand corner, before the private road.
By foot from Hampton Court Station (25 minute walk)
Cross the road at the lights outside of the railway station (towards Pizza Express). Walk down Creek Road, which bends round to the left and turns into Bridge Road, until you come to a mini roundabout. Turn right there (signposted Walton) and walk along the Walton Road for about 7 or 8 minutes, through the main high street, and out again past a row of cottages. Turn left into Seymour Road. Walk down Seymour Road to the very bottom (crossing Beauchamp Road). The House of Prayer is on the right hand corner, before the private road.
