Led by Kerryn Penson
“Fools! For I also had my hour;
One far fierce hour and sweet:
There was a shout about my ears,
And palms before my feet.”
(G. K. Chesterton, “The Donkey”)
As Jesus rides into Jerusalem on a donkey, the crowds wave branches and shout “Hosanna!” Yet within days the mood will change. Where do we find ourselves in this story, among the joyful crowd, the uncertain disciples, or simply watching from the roadside? As we stand on the threshold of Holy Week, this retreat morning will offer a space for prayer and preparation through gentle input, Scripture, poetry and art.
Starts at 10am and finishes at 1pm.
Cost: £20
