To everything there is a season: Deepening Our Faith in Later Life

  • The House of Prayer 35 Seymour Road East Molesey United Kingdom (map)

Led by Rosemary Field

How do we experience the Spirit – God, the divine – in later life?

Through gentle sharing we will look at how our experience of ageing, loss and the prospect of death may free us to live a life that is more Spirit-led, loving, joyful and productive. We will consider the gifts of ageing as well as the sorrows, including the loss of loved ones, the vulnerability of ageing and the need to let go of previous capabilities and identity. We will share experience of simplicity, surrender and solitude, and reflect on how we prepare for our dying. Above all, we shall explore how we can be open to continuing revelation and transformation in our lives. This retreat will offer resources for you to take away for further reading and reflection.

Please note that this day is not intended to meet the needs of those recently bereaved.

Please bring a packed lunch. Starts at 10am and finishes at 4pm.

Cost: £35

Cost including B&B (Friday - Saturday): £110
