Booking your retreat

Bookings

Please e-mail or telephone us to make a booking. All retreats must be booked in advance and a 25% non-refundable deposit is required for all residential retreats, with the balance paid two weeks before arrival. Bookings for retreat days and mornings are secured with full payment at the point of booking. For those who cannot afford the full rate, a small bursary may be available.

Bursaries and concessions

We want to ensure that the House of Prayer is accessible to all people regardless of their financial means. We try to keep our costs and suggested donations as low as possible but understand that some people may be prevented from attending our retreats without further financial support. We have a bursary fund to help support those individuals unable to afford the full cost of a retreat due to financial restraints. We are also a member of the Association for Promoting Retreats which offers bursaries to those in need of financial support to make a retreat. This document offers information regarding bursary funds offered by other charities and organisations which may be able to support you to make a retreat, and details the process for applying to our own small bursary fund.
